Introduction

SegSense project was developed to produce security sensation maps of places around the world. SegSense users provide that information. They input their security sensation at the place and time that they are using the app. System gives back average evaluations of security sensation provided by others users.

SegSense offers information about average security sensations obtained from people at different places. SegSense uses security sensation as a consolidated information that synthesized all aspects that a person uses to generate an evaluation. It is a completely anonymous system. There is no identification of data provided by users.

SegSense classify evaluations by the hour of the day and kind of place where person is. User informs if he or she is at the outside, or indoor, or inside a vehicle. Those factors are most important to stratify results without overload model and user interface.
